Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager supports car wash managers in developing & maintaining a team of people who provide all levels of wash and detail services to customers in a clean, safe, friendly, fast-paced environment. The Assistant manager performs a supervisory purpose over the daily operations and staff:

  • Quality Control – Uphold the high standard of quality that has kept us in business for over 50 years!  Ensure the 3 Goals of Cleaning are achieved on every vehicle, for every customer. 
  • Process Control – Ensure the car wash production line runs efficiently and smoothly. Ensure that employees are adhering to and following appropriate wash and detail strategies and procedures. Train and mentor employees on company procedures and policies.
  • Customer Service – Develop relationships with customers and turn first time visitors into regular customers. Handle & resolve Level 1 customer complaints to best of ability. Recommend and sell our products and services.
  • Utility Role – Use knowledge of multiple car wash areas to fill different work roles as needed. Open and Close site, perform preventative maintenance.

Requirements:
• Must have valid driver license
• 1-2 years of retail, sales, or customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have real-life example(s) of leading others or a team to achieve a specific goal. 
• Able to stand for more than 8 hours, walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching/squatting.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 20+lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
 
Scheduling Expectations – At least 40 hours per week, Saturday required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Offer and advise services that would benefit the customer.
• Understand and become proficient in describing menu and services.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in all aspects of work. 
• Provide wash and detail services to customers in a clean, safe, friendly, fast-paced environment
• Participate in daily tasks required for opening, operating, and closing the car wash such as equipment maintenance and cleaning of the car wash facility and surrounding property.
• Assure excellent customer experience for every customer, every visit. 
• Handle customer concerns to best ability, refer to manager when needed. 
• Follow and adhere to company strategies and procedures appropriately.
• Foster a team-oriented, family environment.
• Drive or ride in passenger vehicles. 
 

Duties of a Team Member may include:

• Basic experience with order entry into any Point of Sale system.
• Professional appearance and proficient verbal/communication skills. 
• Valid driver license
• Previous work or knowledge of sales or car wash industry is preferred. 
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, able to work in all weather conditions, work with quick pace, and lift up to 20 pounds.
 
Scheduling Expectations: Minimum 35 hours per week, Saturday required.

Full Time – 1 Weekend day required

Part Time – Weekdays required

$13.75-$16.75 per Hour = HOURLY RATE + TIPS

  • Provide wash and detail services to customers in a clean, safe, friendly, fast-paced environment
  • Assure excellent customer experience for every customer, every visit.
  • Handle customer concerns to best ability, refer to manager when needed.
  • Follow and adhere to company strategies and procedures appropriately.
  • Foster a team-oriented, family environment.

Duties of a Team Member may include:

  • Using materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses.
  • Performing various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, hand drying, wiping windows and vehicle interiors.
  • Participating in daily tasks required for opening, operating, and closing the car wash & detail center such as equipment maintenance and cleaning of the car wash facility and surrounding property.
  • Driving or riding in passenger vehicles.
